Seasonal Saturdays: Featuring St. Patrick's Day FREEBIES!

Ah, it's finally Saturday, and you know what that means... it's time for "Seasonal Saturday"!!  March is here (yay!), spring is right around the corner, and so is St. Patrick's Day!  Today's feature is from Martha, teacher-author and blogger at

My Primary Paradise

Celebrating Saint Patrick's Day Activity Packet

Martha's packet is sixty pages of math and literacy fun for your little leprechauns! Perfect for kindergarten- 3rd grades, this packet features many math activities such as clover addition, color by sum, color by difference, and bar graphs!

But, wait, there is more treasure to be had! There are literacy activities such as writing about what prized possessions students would place in their pot of gold, short and long vowel sort file folder center, and an "I Am Lucky Clover" activity.  This last activity has students think about things they are thankful for, reasons why they are "lucky".  They write these items on a shamrock graphic.  Love it!

Martha was my guest blogger earlier this week.  If you missed the post, click here to grab a writing freebie from her packet and some adorable St. Patrick's Day clip art!

Thank you, Martha, for sharing your St. Patrick's Day unit... she sure does know how to "make teaching a breeze!"

**If you are interested in submitting a literacy/picture book seasonal item for me to feature, please complete the form here on Google Drive.  I am now accepting submissions for Lent, spring, Earth Day, and Easter.

Enjoy the weekend... here at my house we will be celebrating "someone's" birthday by reading throughout the weekend!
